福井県越前市で作られる「雲肌麻紙（くもはだまし）」を使用。雲肌麻紙は、福井県で作られる越前和紙の種類の一つ。麻と楮が主な原料の手漉き和紙。紙の表面に原料の繊維が絡まって雲状に見えることが素材名の由来となっている。主に日本画制作の支持体に利用され、横山大観や千住博ら日本を代表する画家に愛用されています。

Kumohada-Mashi made in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, is used. Kumohada-Mashi is a type of Echizen Washi made in Fukui Prefecture. This handmade Washi is made mainly from hemp and kozo (paper mulberry). The name of the material comes from the cloud-like appearance of the intertwined fibers of the raw materials on the surface of the paper. (In Japanese "Kumo" means cloud, and  "Hada" means skin or surface.) It is mainly used as a support for Japanese-style painting production, and is favored by leading Japanese painters such as Taikan Yokoyama and Hiroshi Senju and so on.
